Good Crossings Community Standards & Content Moderation Policy

1. Purpose

Good Crossings is a photo-free social networking platform designed to help adults build meaningful friendships, professional connections, mentorships, activity groups, volunteer opportunities, and other lawful social relationships based on shared interests rather than appearance.

These Community Standards establish the rules governing user behavior and content on the Service. They supplement our Terms of Use and are incorporated by reference into the Terms.

By using Good Crossings, you agree to comply with these Community Standards.

2. Our Community Principles

We strive to create a community that is:

  • Inclusive
  • Safe
  • Honest
  • Professional
  • Welcoming

Every user is expected to contribute positively to the community.

3. Respectful Conduct

Users must treat others with dignity and respect.

You may not:

  • threaten another user;
  • intimidate or bully another person;
  • harass another user;
  • repeatedly contact users after they ask you to stop;
  • engage in discriminatory conduct;
  • use slurs or hateful language;
  • encourage violence or self-harm;
  • disclose another person's private information without permission ("doxxing");
  • engage in stalking or unwanted surveillance.

Healthy disagreement is permitted, but abusive behavior is not.

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is prohibited:

Illegal Content

  • Criminal activity
  • Fraud
  • Identity theft
  • Money laundering
  • Human trafficking
  • Terrorist content
  • Illegal drugs
  • Child sexual abuse material
  • Illegal gambling
  • Sale of stolen property

Violence

Content promoting:

  • murder
  • assault
  • violent extremism
  • terrorism
  • threats
  • graphic violence
  • instructions for violent crimes

Hate Speech

Content attacking individuals or groups based on protected characteristics, including:

  • race
  • ethnicity
  • national origin
  • religion
  • disability
  • sex
  • gender identity
  • sexual orientation
  • age
  • veteran status

Constructive discussion about public issues is permitted, provided it does not constitute unlawful harassment or hate speech.

Adult Content

Users may not post:

  • pornography;
  • sexually explicit images;
  • solicitation of sexual services;
  • sexually exploitative content;
  • content involving minors.

Because Good Crossings is intended for broader social and professional networking, sexually explicit content is prohibited.

Fraud and Deception

Users may not:

  • impersonate another person;
  • create fake identities;
  • misrepresent employment;
  • falsely claim credentials;
  • conduct romance scams;
  • solicit investments fraudulently;
  • request cryptocurrency through deception.

Spam

Prohibited activities include:

  • mass messaging;
  • repetitive unsolicited communications;
  • chain letters;
  • phishing;
  • deceptive links;
  • malware;
  • commercial spam.

Intellectual Property

Users may not upload content that infringes:

  • copyrights;
  • trademarks;
  • trade secrets;
  • publicity rights;
  • privacy rights.

5. Professional Conduct

Good Crossings encourages professional networking.

Users should:

  • accurately describe their experience;
  • avoid misleading credentials;
  • respect confidentiality obligations;
  • avoid unauthorized recruiting practices;
  • refrain from soliciting confidential business information.

6. Commercial Activity

Commercial activity is limited.

Without prior authorization, users may not:

  • advertise products or services;
  • conduct direct sales;
  • promote multi-level marketing;
  • solicit investments;
  • collect donations;
  • distribute affiliate links;
  • promote unrelated businesses.

Employers may post legitimate networking opportunities only where permitted by the platform.

7. User Safety

Users should:

  • exercise good judgment;
  • meet in public places;
  • avoid sharing financial information;
  • protect passwords;
  • report suspicious conduct;
  • discontinue uncomfortable interactions.

Good Crossings cannot guarantee the conduct or intentions of any user.

8. Reporting Violations

Users may report:

  • harassment;
  • scams;
  • impersonation;
  • spam;
  • inappropriate content;
  • threats;
  • copyright infringement;
  • violations of these Standards.

Knowingly submitting false or malicious reports may itself violate these Standards.

9. Investigations

MIS LLC may investigate suspected violations using:

  • user reports;
  • automated detection tools;
  • manual review;
  • internal security monitoring;
  • information provided by affected users.

MIS LLC is not obligated to investigate every report but may do so in its sole discretion.

10. Enforcement

Depending upon the circumstances, MIS LLC may:

  • remove content;
  • restrict visibility of content;
  • issue warnings;
  • require account verification;
  • temporarily suspend features;
  • suspend accounts;
  • permanently terminate accounts;
  • preserve evidence for legal purposes;
  • cooperate with law enforcement.

MIS LLC may take immediate action where necessary to protect users or the integrity of the Service.

Users who believe moderation action was taken in error may submit an appeal within 30 days of the action.

Appeals should include:

  • account information;
  • description of the issue;
  • explanation of why the decision should be reconsidered;
  • supporting documentation, if available.

Appeals may be submitted to the email listed above.

MIS LLC will review appeals in good faith and communicate the outcome. The Company's decision on an appeal is final.

11. Repeat Violations

Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent account termination.

MIS LLC reserves the right to bypass progressive enforcement where conduct presents an immediate threat to users, the Service, or legal compliance.

Updates

MIS LLC may modify these Community Standards from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means.
